MCFC Dubai Supporters Club First Meeting

On Saturday, 11th August MCFC Dubai finally got together and celebrated their first meeting as an overseas MCFC supporters group.

The day and night was a huge success. Fourteen Man City fans turned up for the first meeting and believe you me they made some noise. Songs were aplenty, as was the beer, making for a great atmosphere.

If the boys continue to play like they did against West Ham throughout the season and our Dubai fans turn up en masse every week, we are in for a great season. My sincere thanks to all of you who helped make the great day out it was!!!

Regards
Mark Lynch
MCFC Dubai Chairman

MCFC Vs Manchester United - Player's Lounge Sunday 19th Aug K.O. 4.30pm

The new season got off to an impressive start with Sven's men turning in a fine performance at West Ham to collect all three points. Around 15 MCFC Dubai members made it at a memorable day at the Player's Lounge and more than made up for the lack of sound by generating an excellent, alcohol-fuelled atmosphere!

Sunday, 19th August sees City entertain Un*ted at Eastlands in the highly-anticipated Manchester Derby. The match kicks off at 4.30pm (Dubai time) and MCFC Dubai will once again be taking over the Player's Lounge bar in Bur Dubai for this game.

MCFC Dubai urges all Blues to don their colours and turn out in force at the Player's Lounge to give the boys a great reception and show the rags what real Mancunian pride is all about. I look forward to seeing you all there on Derby Day. CTID

MCFC Vs Derby County - Player's Lounge Wednesday 15th Aug K.O. 10.45pm

City's second game of the season will see the Blues entertain newly-promoted Derby County at Eastlands.

The game kicks off at 10.45pm (Dubai time) and will be featured live on one of the big screens at the Player's Lounge bar in Bur Dubai's Chelsea Hotel. I appreciate that due to the late Wednesday night kick off, not all of you will be able to make it to City HQ for this match.

But there will certainly be a few Blues in attendance, so anyone interested in joining us should get down to the Player's Lounge from about 9.30pm to watch City take on a team that was once home to two of our legends; Franny Lee and Georgiou Kinkladze.
