Manchester City Vs Bolton Wanderers Saturday 15th December 2007 7.00pm Kickoff Players Lounge

The Festive season is upon us and its the time of year which could potentially make or break Manchester Citys season in the top five. City lie sixth in the table due to a surprisingly poor away form this season. The clubs Home form must remain impregnable to enable the blues to stay in the top 5 whilst nicking the odd win away this season. With the last away win for the blues being at West Ham on the opening day of the campaign Mr Sven needs to improve the Blues away form and find that magic formula.

Gary Megson brings Bolton to Eastlands on the back of a 4-1 thumping over Wigan who Manchester city struggled to gain a victory over recently. Ex Blue Megson will be hoping to take Bolton clear of the bottom four with a win over City but he must know that Eastlands is a tough nut to crack this year. Sven will be without Stevie Ireland but welcomes back Elano and Didi Hamman to the side.

With the top 4 all playing each other this weekend it is a perfect opportunity for Manchester City to gain some valuable points on the top 4 and get back in the thick off it. With Liverpool and Blackburn due over the festive season Victories for the Blues could put us right in contention for a Champions League spot. With january looming and money for Sven to spend the future could be bright but only if Sven can get some hard earned points over Xmas. Fingers crossed Boys!!

Mcfc Dubai writers will be away over Xmas but will try to maintain the posts as regular as possible. I wish you all a very happy Xmas and New year and look forward to seeing you all in 2008.

The futures bright the futures SKY BLUE.
