Hello All,
As some of you may or may not be aware, MCFC Dubai was registered as part of the Manchester City Official Supporters Club (1949) for the 2007/08 season. As things stand, we have yet to re-register for the current 2008/09 season, which prevents us from taking advantage of the OSC's benefits. These include possible ticket allocations for Premier League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup and Carling Cup matches, both home and away.
For just Dh35 each, you will receive an official MCFC Dubai OSC-affiliated membership card, and if we can submit at least 10 applications, MCFC Dubai will be eligible to apply for some of the benefits outlined above.
For anybody that does not wish to pay the registration fee, your membership of MCFC Dubai will be unaffected and you are still more than welcome to join us for matchdays in Dubai. However, you will not be entitled to take advantage of the full benefits that the club will get from its official status (i.e. possible ticket allocations).
Obviously, this is of most importance to those of us that are looking to possibly follow the Blues abroad in the UEFA Cup (*touches wood*). We need to get this arranged as soon as possible, so if you are interested, please submit Dh35 and a passport photograph to either myself or David Hammett at the earliest opportunity.
I look forward to your co-operation and an exciting season ahead.
Mark Lynch
