Following on from what was undoubtedly City's best performance for many years against Newcastle, the Blues entertain another Northeast club at Eastlands on Saturday afternoon.
City did the double over the smoggies last season, with Richard Dunne scoring the winner at Eastlands in October, and Sylvain Distin and Emile Mpenza scoring the crucial goals at the Riverside in March to help stave off the threat of relegation.
The game kicks off at 6.00pm (Dubai time) and, as usual, MCFC Dubai will be meeting at the Player's Lounge bar in Bur Dubai's Chelsea Hotel to watch the match live on the big screen, complete with English commentary. So, get yourselves down to the pub to see if the Blues can make it three-in-three against the Boro and maintain their 100% home record this season.
In a damning indictment of the way football is now run, there will only be one Saturday 3pm kick off this week, so eight games are scheduled for Sunday. The day's other fixtures include Arsenal vs Sunderland (3pm), Newcastle vs Everton (6pm) and Liverpool vs Tottenham (6pm). Due to Ramadan, alcohol will not be on sale before 7pm, but food and soft drinks will be available as usual from midday.
