Portsmouth Vs Manchester City!!! Well what can I say? They don't get much more exciting than this. Two teams gunning to break into the top four who are riding very high in the top six of the Premier League this season. Both teams playing attractive attacking football and both teams very capable of opening up their opponents with the new armoury of talent they have invested in this season.
Harry invested in ex-Blue hero and skipper Sylvain Distin, who has played a pivotal role in Pompey's success alongside Sol Campbell. Let's just hope he has one of those irregular blunders on match day.
For me this game is one of those games City must win to prove that they are that little bit better than your average top six challenger. City lie third in the table mainly because of a formidable home form. However, the Blues' away form is not that much to rave about. With only 4 points gained away this season it is vital that City improve on this and show what it takes to remain in the top six.
This game will be shown in the Players Lounge on the big screen with sound. There was an understandably low turnout from MCFC Dubai for the Sunderland game on Monday night, given the extremely late kick off. This week please all make a huge effort to get down to what i feel will be one of the best games of the season. Calling all Blues, the first THREE buckets of Becks are on me (Mark Lynch!).
In the day's other games, Birmingham take on Aston Villa at St. Andrews at 5.00pm (Dubai time), while Everton travel to Stamford Bridge at 6.00pm and the Rags tackle Blackburn at The Swamp at 7.00pm.
