Newcastle United Vs Manchester City 20th October St James Park 10.45 pm Kickoff. Live In the Players lounge Bar Dubai

Gone are the days of Manchester City being the yo yo unpredictable laughing stock of English football as Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspurs have made serious efforts to eclipse us this season.

The two big clubs who have signed several new faces this season are languishing in the bottom four looking in serious danger of a torrid time fighting relegation. King Kev has once again departed the Magpies on bad terms with plenty of so claimed bad blood brewing between Mike ashleys Cockney Midget sidekick Dennis ' Cranky' Wise and Keegan on footballing issues Keegan obviously felt were his control. How on earth that Wise is not hanging from the Angel of the Norths wings by a rope i dont know. Anyway for us blues lets hope that the Geordie turmoil continues for a few more days and we get a full taking of three points to help propel us into the top three where we belong. With a win over the Magpies City can go 8th in the league above Portsmouth providing that a two goal advantage is acheived.

City are without wing wizard Petrov who very unfortunately picked up a 6-8 month knee ligament layoff with Bulgaria National team in midweek. Zabaletta is serving the first of his three match ban and robinho is likely to shake off a dead leg to start.
Newcastle United will be without striker Michael Owen for the Manchester City game after a scan revealed he had suffered a groin strain in training.
But the 28-year-old forward has a chance of being fit to play in the away game against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on 25 October.

Teams likely as follows.

Newcastle (from): Given, Harper, Beye, Edgar, Enrique, N'Zogbia, Taylor, Coloccini, Cacapa, Bassong, Tozer, Butt, Guthrie, Geremi, Duff, Jonas, Doninger, Xisco, Ameobi, Donaldson, Ranger, Danquah.
Man City (from): Hart, Richards, Dunne, Ben Haim, Garrido, Ball, Wright-Phillips, Ireland, Kompany, Elano, Robinho, Jo, Schmeichel, Fernandes, Hamann, Evans, Sturridge, Etuhu, Glauber.

So for those who can make the Players lounge this week for the match kick-off is at 10.45 so see you there at 10pm

Mark
